BATHURST, le 11 janvier 2023 – Le Centre de recherche appliquée et d’innovation du CCNB, INNOV, a le plaisir d’annoncer la nomination d’André Roussel en tant que gestionnaire de sa division Fabrication de pointe et robotique, situé au CCNB – Campus de Bathurst, site Youghall.
M. Roussel possède une solide expérience en innovation et en amélioration de processus, ayant travaillé plus de 25 années dans les secteurs de l’industrie, des services et de l’éducation. Il a notamment été enseignant et coordonnateur du programme Internet des objets du CCNB, fonction qui lui a permis de peaufiner son expertise dans les nouvelles technologies. Il compte s’appuyer sur ces connaissances pour guider la transition des clients d’INNOV vers l’industrie 4.0.
« En plus de ses nombreuses réussites en leadership au fil des ans, M. Roussel a eu l’occasion de se familiariser avec INNOV en tant que collaborateur dans divers projets. Nous sommes convaincus que son expertise sera précieuse à notre équipe et contribuera à concrétiser notre vision, soit de devenir un chef de file en recherche et innovation », a affirmé Daniel Laplante, directeur général d’INNOV.
M. Roussel détient une maîtrise en physique de l’Université de Montréal et a poursuivi plusieurs formations complémentaires pour approfondir ses connaissances et rester à jour dans ses domaines. Il est notamment maître ceinture noire Six Sigma et a suivi des cours sur l’apprentissage automatique et l’entrepreneuriat axés sur l’innovation.
Il s’est dit motivé à faire une différence dans les entreprises et les communautés du Nouveau-Brunswick et des provinces voisines.
« Je suis ravi de rejoindre l’équipe d’INNOV et je suis convaincu que nous pouvons accomplir de grandes choses ensemble, a affirmé M. Roussel. Le rôle que nous jouons pour les entreprises et l’économie est indispensable. »

La division Fabrication de pointe et robotique d’INNOV à Bathurst est l’un des trois Centres d’accès à la technologie Tech-Access Canada du Canada atlantique. Se spécialisant dans l’automatisation et la robotique, son équipe d’experts conçoit des solutions durables qui permettent d’améliorer la sécurité et les conditions de travail de la main-d’œuvre, tout en augmentant la productivité et la compétitivité des entreprises. Ses services visent en particulier l’innovation et l’intégration technologiques dans les secteurs industriels et manufacturiers et la création de prototypes.

André Roussel to lead INNOV’s advanced manufacturing and robotics division
BATHURST, January 11 2023 – CCNB’s centre for applied research and innovation, INNOV, is pleased to announce the appointment of André Roussel as manager of its advanced manufacturing and Robotics division, located at CCNB’s Youghall campus in Bathurst.
Mr. Roussel has a strong background in innovation and process improvement, having worked for over 25 years in the industrial, service and education sectors. His experience includes teaching and coordinating the Internet of Things program at CCNB, where he honed his expertise in new technologies. He plans to use this knowledge to guide the transition of INNOV’s client companies to Industry 4.0, one of the research center’s goals.
« In addition to his many leadership successes over the years, Mr. Roussel has had the opportunity to become familiar with INNOV as a collaborator on various projects. He brings valuable expertise to our team and will contribute to our vision of becoming a leader in research and innovation, » said Daniel Laplante, Executive Director of INNOV.
Mr. Roussel holds a master’s degree in physics from the Université de Montréal and has taken numerous additional training courses to deepen his knowledge and stay current in his fields. He is a Six Sigma Black Belt Master and has taken courses in machine learning and innovation-based entrepreneurship.
He said he is motivated by his new challenge.
